In my previous 20 years of babysitting experience, I have worked with children of all ages from infants to teens. I spent last summer as a nanny for a young infant and I also spent this past school year as a nanny for a family with two young children. In addition to my babysitting experience, I have a younger sister who is 12 years younger than me and I babysat her for my parents ever since she was a newborn baby. Having a younger sister has given me a lot of hands on experience, which has proven to be very beneficial. I truly enjoy working and playing with kids because they remind me not to take life so seriously and remember to laugh. Hello!  My name is Lisa. I am a graduate from the University of Nevada, Reno.  I was a double major in Psychology and Art with an emphasis in Photography. For over 20 years, I have cared for children from the age of 0 (newborn) to the age of about 12.  My favorite age group would have to be 2-3 years because that is when they are full of energy.  I am comfortable with all ages.  I was fully responsible for the children.  I did potty training and helped with homework.  This included reading, math, and science.  My favorite subjects to teach are basic/beginning Algebra.  I love doing arts and crafts with children.  You may even find me coloring a yellow unicorn!  I volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters from 2008 to 2011.  I did a volunteer intership with the children's pastor at my church.  When I was about 12, I volunteered in the children’s ministry at my church.  I was one of the volunteer teachers.   Other than babysitting/nannying, I can take care of various pets.  I have taken care of dogs, cats, birds, fish, African dwarf frogs, hermit crabs, turtles, and hamsters.
