I am an experienced child care provider with a background in early childhood education. I am working full-time as a infant nanny. Prior to my current role, I held several assistant teacher positions In area preschools and have been responsible for infants as well as older children. My responsibilities included classroom teaching as well as play and meal activities. I also have first aid certification and lifeguard experience. I am available for home care of infants and older children.

I am looking for a full-time summer position. I can start end of June. I live in Carmel, NY but am willing to travel. I have my own car, as well. I believe I have a great deal of patience and I put my heart into everything I do. I am responsible and flexible with times/schedules. Being in a school setting, I've had to deal with many different situations and have learned how to deal with them successfully and in an effective way. I'm 26 years old and graduated from graduate school for elementary education (K-6). I went to Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT for undergrad and grad school. I received my Master's Degree for Elementary Education. I interned and student taught in Darien, CT. I taught in Kindergarten and absolutely loved it. I currently teach at an elementary school in Mahopac.  I've been working with children ever since I was 13, whether it was babysitting or working at a day camp. I worked at a day camp for 3 summers and worked with children ages 5 & 6. I hope to teach Kindergarten or 1st grade in the future. I've worked for several different types of families in the past. I've babysat for as many as 5 kids at once, ranging from infant to 12 years old (I've also had experience with pets of all kinds!). I have many younger cousins and 2 younger siblings that I've babysat for and that has provided me with additional experience! I love doing arts and crafts and being outdoors with the kids. Hello parents, my name is Meghann. I have been working in childcare for a year and a half now. My first job as a nanny was with a big family of four children aged 4 months old, 3, 5, and 10 years old. After that, I moved on to work at a two daycare the first daycare i work at was working with in infants and toddler but I was bouncing around to preschool whenever they need with the second daycare i work at is at home daycare i work with the same group of kids with the previous of daycare i work. I also do have CPR and first aid certification that wouldn't expire until 2027 and some early childhood education and training programs. In my job people would ask me what interests me working with children. It's because working with children can be incredibly rewarding, as it involves fostering growth, sparking creativity, and building meaningful relationships, all while making a positive impact on young lives. I find immense joy in helping them learn and grow.

When I was 12 years old I started helping my aunt with my little cousins and from there my experience with children grew. In high school I organized birthday parties for small children at a sports center. From there I worked at a day care teaching children ranging in age from infancy to school age, responsible for four to 10 children at a time. It was there that I fell in love with a family and became their nanny full time. At the time I started with them they had three children, ages 6 months, 2 and 4. 55-year-old woman Ive been in childcare for over 20 years. Also the Goddard school for 5 years. Most importantly I am a mom of 2 adult children, which I feel is an advantage.
