Hello, I am currently employed full-time as a Teaching Assistant in the Saratoga Springs City School District. However, I am interested in occasional babysitting on the weekends or for date nights. I have outstanding contact references and over 30+ years of experience working with children of all ages from infants to teens. I am dependable, caring, creative, patient, and energetic. In addition, I have a master's degree in Elementary Education. I have always had a natural rapport with children and always knew that I wanted to work with children in some capacity. My past work history includes: preschool teacher; pre-k teacher; substitute teacher; camp counselor; activities director; tutor; and full-time nanny. I truly love working with children. As a babysitter, I enjoy engaging children in arts and crafts, games and outdoor activities. I love to swim and read. Growing up as an older sister I have spent lots of time around kids and truly enjoy it. I have spent lots of time with kids in a number of different setting including: a summer camp setting, mentoring setting, and babysitting. I grew up with dogs so I am very comfortable around them. Despite the fact I am very busy I am hoping to fit time into my schedule to spend time with kids, I am happy to help with household chores. Unfortunately I currently do not have a carom however I do have a license and am comfortable behind the wheel. I am good with children and making them happy. I enjoy being around them and watching over them and teaching them. I have been babysitting since I was 13 and I really enjoy doing it. I enjoy playing video games and going to places to let kids have fun. I have helped my mom's friends potty train their kids and I have also changed a lot of diapers. What I like most about young children is that they have a lot to say although most of the time it doesn't make since but because they are young its really interesting listening to what they have to say. I also enjoy playing bored games and going outside as well.
