I love being a sitter because kids are so positive, and they bring so much light to each day, which is so meaningful to me. I understand how difficult it can be for parents to leave their kids for work or any other reason, and being someone who can help out in those moments is extremely fulfilling. Playing, reading stories, or chatting about the weather can all be so entertaining with kids and can be so crucial to their development. With babysitting, children get more one-on-one attention, as opposed to a daycare or camp, which can also benefit them. I babysat my nephew from when he was three years old to nine years old, which is six years ago to today. We have built such a meaningful connection because of it.
