Hi, I’m Samantha! I recently graduated with my bachelors degree in psychology, along with completing multiple courses in early childhood education. I have 2 years of daycare experience as well as one year experience working in the Mental Health field with children. Between the years of 2014 and 2016 I was enrolled in the early childhood education program at the Eastern Long Island Academy of Applied Technology where I worked towards obtaining my Child Development Accreditation. Some of my hobbies include sports, going to the beach, yoga, and art. I also like to spend a lot of my free time fundraising for the Ronald McDonald House with an organization I have been a part of for almost 10 years. Over the years I have helped raise my two wonderful nephews who are now 6 and 13. I have much prior experience babysitting for numerous families around the area, and would be happy to provide references and discuss further. I look forward to connecting! :)

My name is Jessica/Jessie and I love children. Rest assured, I am Adult, Child and Infant, Pediatric CPR/AED & First Aid Certified. I have experience with children and adults who have special needs. Experienced with infants, toddlers, and grade school children. I drive a reliable 2021 Subaru Forester, and have a clean driving record. Organized and experienced, I enjoy making the time I’m there enjoyable for everyone. From climbing the tree in the yard together with the older kids, to homework help, meal prep and clean up, it will be done. I’m classically trained, I play the viola and drums. So I love bringing various instruments such as hand drums, small tambourine, and maracas for the children to enjoy. I sometimes bring a mini speaker and encourage dance, exercise and self expression. It’s been amazing to me, how much I’ve observed how music really helps the children use their imaginations! I’ll bring lots of other activities like a craft, coloring books, markers, matching games, a variety of balls are always with me, to share with your children. Additional sports equipment, and soccer nets are also available upon request and are all included in my rate. I’m looking forward to finding more families to build a relationship with. Childcare is something that comes really natural for me, this is one of the reasons I love it so much. Looking forward to speaking with you soon. Several recent references available upon request.

Jessica was a wonderful babysitter for our young kids (ages 2, 4, 6). We were staying out east for a family wedding and needed to find an experienced, trusted babysitter for just one night. We are so thankful to have found Jessica! The kids immediately responded positively to her calm and happy energy. They loved the instruments she brought over. She handled dinner and different bedtimes like a pro - which she is! We would definitely hire Jessica again!

I highly recommend Cory! I hired Cory to babysit for two nights while my family was out in Cutchogue. We had a baby sleeping, and then Cory took care of 9 year old and 6 year old girls. The girls loved playing and reading with her. Although we didn't spend too much time with Cory, I could tell she was really caring and would be able to take care of the baby if need be. I'll definitely hire Cory again when we are out on the North Fork!

Gery, babysat for us three evenings. She was on time gentle with my son who is 10 years old. I was impressed by attention to details and care she provided. She played with him in very engaging way. Also, made sure he was well fed. I like that she has positive attitude and she had some great tips for me as a new mom. I would definitely recommend her and hire her again if in the area.

I am an experienced educator, learning specialist, and childcare professional with over 15 years of experience supporting children from infancy through adolescence. I hold two master’s degrees from Teachers College, Columbia University in Elementary Inclusive Education and Curriculum & Literacy, where I specialized in child development, literacy acquisition, and evidence-based learning practices. My philosophy is deeply influenced by both the Reggio Emilia and Montessori approaches, which emphasize curiosity, independence, creativity, and learning through meaningful experiences. I believe children learn best when they feel safe, seen, and inspired to explore the world around them. In addition to my work in schools and private homes, I have contributed curriculum and educational content for Sesame Workshop, helping create engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences for children and families. My professional experience includes classroom teaching, educational consulting, tutoring, nannying, babysitting, and supporting children with ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety, executive functioning challenges, and diverse learning needs. Whether caring for infants, creating enriching activities for toddlers, helping with homework, supporting literacy development, or managing bedtime routines, I bring warmth, patience, and professionalism to every family I work with. Families describe me as nurturing, dependable, highly engaging, and exceptionally skilled at building strong connections with children while supporting their academic, social, and emotional growth.

Hi! I’m Xann, and caring for children has been a huge part of my life for over 40 years. I have extensive experience caring for infants, toddlers, and young children, and I truly enjoy creating a safe, loving, and fun environment where children feel comfortable and cared for. I am a CDA-certified infant and toddler teacher and have worked as a toddler teacher for the past several years. I also direct a summer program for 2-year-olds, so I’m very comfortable with everything from playtime and crafts to meals, bedtime routines, and keeping little ones engaged. I’m patient, dependable, nurturing, and attentive to each child’s individual personality and needs. I especially enjoy reading, arts and crafts, outdoor play, imaginative play, and creating fun activities that are appropriate for the child’s age. I’m looking primarily for occasional babysitting, date nights, weekends, and special events in the Riverhead/East End area. I understand how important it is for parents to feel completely comfortable and confident when leaving their children with someone, and I would love the opportunity to provide that peace of mind. I look forward to meeting your family!
