Hi! I am semi retired. I currently work at the Hudson County Montessori School on Quaker Road here in New Rochelle as a substitute teacher. I work primarily with the toddler and primary school kids. I just love working there and am daily amazed on the Montessori approach to education and how self reliant physically and emotionally children can be when it is expected of them. That being said, I am still an “Italian Grandma” at heart and am great at making kids feel safe and loved while in my care. I just don’t give in about them putting away their stuff like I did when my kids were young. I have a background in education with a BA from Marist college and am certified to teach in the state of Florida. I worked as a camp counselor and lifeguard through high school and college and substituted on and off for years while running my own business for over 20 years. I love kids but what’s even more important is that kids love me! I have a very enthusiastic and jovial personality that kids young and older just seen the love. I have raised my own two children and am pretty savvy on the games teens can play. My kids still like me lol! I am interested in Babysitting , I’m free most evenings and weekends.
