I am a 37 year-old early childhood teacher from Chile. While studying during college, I spent a summer babysitting for a family whose mother needed assistance watching a 2 year-old while caring for her newborn. I was responsible for clothing and feeding the child and enjoyed doing some activities with him. I worked in my home country following my studies as a rural public school teacher for a year and a half. My nine students ranged in age from 4 to 6. After that, I came to the United States under a work visa to work as a Spanish teacher in a private school in Massachusetts for one year and a half, developing activities for toddlers. I just moved here last year from Cleveland OH, I am going to be a junior in college but doing it remotely. I have very flexible hours and I am very good at communicating with parents. Since I was a young girl, I have always been babysitting/care taking for my neighbors, cousins, siblings and more. In Ohio I was a nanny for 2.5 years for 3 children.
