Hey! I'm living in Steamboat this winter and looking to fill some of the free spots in my schedule with some baby sitting gigs. I'm very active and willing to keep up with the energized kiddos. However, I am totally cool with a cold night/day in keeping the little guys entertained indoors. If you need evening sitting or whole days based on my availability we can work something out.

I started taking care of children in early high school as a summer/weekend pastime, and continued because of how much I love the job! I currently work in a childcare center through the week and am pursuing my degree in education; I am looking for a weekend position to help fund my schooling. I am certified in First Aid and CPR through Redcross and have numerous references from the families I've previously worked for.

I recently graduated with a degree in Psychology, where I developed a strong foundation in child development and behavioral understanding. I am CPR certified, safety-focused, and confident in caring for children of all ages. I have professional nanny experience working with a family in Florida, caring for two young boys (8 months and 2 years old), and I loved being part of their daily routine and milestones. Along with nannying, I worked as an ABA therapist for children with autism for two years, giving me hands-on experience supporting children with different developmental and behavioral needs. I have also cared for multiple family members' children over the years and volunteered with several organizations supporting children and teens with special needs. I enjoy creating a fun, patient, and nurturing environment — whether that's through play, sensory activities, outdoor time, or learning-based engagement. If time allows, I love helping with housework, tidying, laundry, or meal prep to make life easier for parents. I have experience working not only with infants and children, but also with teens and adults, which has given me a calm, adaptable, and understanding approach to care. I would love to bring warmth, structure, and positivity into your child’s routine. I look forward to getting to know your family!

Hey! I’m Kendall. Im a college student studying Early Childhood Education who absolutely loves working with kids. I spent over a year working in daycare and I’m currently a substitute teacher for Teays valley local schools. I’m student teaching at a preschool classroom, caring for children of all personalities and abilities. So far I’ve worked with ages of 2 months all the way to 12! I have a background check on file with the Ohio department of education. I am also offering singing and piano lessons for an additional charge. For those interested in piano lessons, you do have to have a piano in your house. I’ll do all lessons in-home! I have many years of vocal and piano experience. I’m creative, patient, and love turning little moments into fun memories. Whether it’s crafts, outdoor play, reading together, or calming bedtime routines, I always put safety, kindness, and connection first. If you need someone dependable who truly enjoys spending time with kids, I’d love to help out! I’d also like to say my rates are flexible. I am willing to negotiate price for cost affordability. I want to make everything cost friendly for everyone :)

I have watched many different age groups thanks to having worked in a daycare center for six years. When I began I was part-time and went to all the different rooms, so I worked with all the children from the infants to the school-agers (in the summer). I eventually decided to work there full-time as a toddler teacher in the potty-training room because I loved being around the kids so much. Sadly, that daycare center in Columbus ended up closing. I moved back home to Newark, OH to be closer to my family. I do not have any children of my own but I enjoy the time I do get to spend with my four nieces and my nephew. In 2016, I moved to Canal Winchester and married my soulmate. We have 2 dogs (Catfish & Daisy) who are are some spoiled pups. I usually like to try to do an art/craft project with the children. I always clean up any mess that is made, but I do believe the messier the project is, the more fun the child will have and the more creative he/she can be. I will ask you in advance if this is ok to do. I love to read and I will read to the children. A few of my favorite authors of kid's books are David Shannon, Sandra Boynton, Eric Carle, and of course, Dr Seuss.
