Hello! My name is Erica! I’m 19 years old and knew from a young age my passion was helping and caring for young children. I loved doing activities with the children I’ve cared for, loved teaching them through small things we see in everyday life, and overall having a great connection with the child(ren) and family. I went to upper valley career center my junior and senior year, working with children for those two years and worked in a daycare for a few months. Childcare has always been my dream job. While I don’t list a ton of certifications, my daily experience in a classroom setting has really prepared me to handle a wide range of situations responsibly and calmly. Overall, I’m very dependable, easygoing, and someone kids feel comfortable around. I treat every child like they’re my own family, and I always try to make sure they feel safe, supported, and have fun.
