I’ve worked as a lifeguard since I was 15 which has not only given me lots of experience working with kids but also means I am both CPR and first aid certified. Since college has started back up and I know a lot of grade schools are going online I thought babysitting would be a perfect job for me because I can help the kids with their school work while also working on mine! I am very active and would be happy to take the kids to any sports, activities, or run errands whatever would be convenient for you! I have class each morning at 8am and my last class finishes at 3:40pm M-F. I do have a 5 hour gap between classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays and would be able to provide extra help 9:30am-2pm if needed during that time.

My name is Kat and I have been a kindergarten - 8th grade teacher for 15 years in the Ohio public and charter school systems. I love being around and working with children. I am the nanny for a 18 month old girl that I have taken care of since she was three months. I also have three grown daughters, two of which have children. I hangout with them alot. I do school sometimes with them when I spend the night at their house which was often before COVID. I get all of my grandkids in the summer for two weeks. Some of the activities have included nature walks, a tour of a chocolate factory, we swim and go to the water park a lot, and we've also gone to different museums. I enjoy this interaction and I have been doing this since my oldest granddaughter was born in 1995. I feel that I would be able to provide structure and fun.
