Working with children is my passion and I have done this my entire career. I am a certified teacher who chose to make childcare my full-time career in 2008. I have experience with ages newborn to 15 years old, including multiples. Pets and helping around the house are not a problem. I enjoy an on the go lifestyle and keeping little ones active inside and outside of the home. I am reliable, honest, clean, and organized. I have a reliable and safe car with insurance and a clean driving record. I have a clean background check and resume with references available. I take pride in nurturing children and infants as they grow and learn, socially and educationally. I have two children of my own (both in school) giving me additional experience and compassion. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.

April is our Church Nursery Sitter since Nov 2005. She's extremely reliable, hard-working, & compassionate. She's always dressed appropriately & handles the chaos of church well ;) She does a great job prepping & sanitizing the nursery before her start time and communicates well with the parents about their kids at her end time. Our nursery babies & parents have grown attached to her & love her! She's a great asset to our church. Please feel free to contact me as April's reference: Flora 216-374-6131. April is a Treasure!

I am passionate about working with children and dedicated to creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where they can learn and grow. My patience, strong sense of responsibility, and positive attitude allow me to build positive connections with kids while prioritizing their well-being. I bring extensive hands-on experience in child care. Over the past three years, I have provided daily care for my five-year-old nephew, who resides in my household. This consistent, daily responsibility—along with frequently caring for younger cousins—has given me deep, practical experience with early childhood routines, behavior, and care. Regarding safety qualifications, I previously completed CPR training in high school, which established a solid foundation in emergency preparedness and the ability to stay calm in stressful situations. Although my certification is not currently active, I understand the importance of maintaining up-to-date credentials and am fully prepared to renew my CPR certification upon request.

Chloe is a great sitter! We had the pleasure of having her babysit our son and loved having her! I highly recommend Chloe and hope we can get back to having her back on a regular basis!

Hello! I have always enjoyed working with young children. I began working at a daycare when I was 18 in the infant room. I stayed for 3 years until I was offered a job at a prestigious daycare for the preschool teaching position. I later left when offered a nanny position with a family from my old daycare. I then nannied for 8 years with a few wonderful families. I am currently dispatching full time from 4pm to midnight and nannying part time. I'm looking for a loving, positive environment, and look forward to meeting your family!

We absolutely love Lauren. She has been a wonderful caregiver for our toddlers and baby. Not only is she knowledgeable about child development, but she’s also so creative with activities. Every time she watches the kids, they are doing fun, engaging things that keep them excited and happy. She also helps out around the house, tidying up after the kids and even helping with meal prep, which is such a huge help for us. Lauren is reliable, kind, and our kids adore her. We feel so lucky to have found her!

Hi there! I'm Dai'Shunai — most families just call me Dai. I'm 25, currently pursuing my Master's degree, and have several years of hands-on experience caring for children ages 3 months to 17 years, including multiples. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, patient, dependable, and genuinely love finding creative ways to keep kids engaged — think puzzles, arts and crafts, nature walks, and educational games over screen time. I also have experience supporting children with ADHD and autism spectrum needs. I'm comfortable with the full range: homework help, meal prep, potty training, bath and bedtime routines, transportation, light cleaning, and pet care. Based in Hudson, OH, and happy to travel. I'd love to bring structure, warmth, and good energy to your family!

I love being a baby sitter because I love children and helping them grow and learn. I was a Sunday school teacher for 2 years and loved it and have babysat my little cousins! I’m in the military so I’m CPR certified and know first aide. I love to cook and don’t mind helping around the house when the kids are busy playing! I’m very patient but stern when needed. And I would love to be of help to a family!

I have 2 nieces and a nephew that I adore. Being around children gives you a fresh perspective that is needed within adult minds. I used to work at a daycare for about a year with kids ranging from month old babies to middle school children. I volunteered for the zoo and helped with the zoo camp. I also was able to teach a couple lessons to second graders. I used to tutor high school students and help them out with their homework. I also used to babysit and value outside time to play.

Hello, my name is Nicole. I’m a mom to 4 boys with their ages ranging from 23-15, and that is where most of my experience comes from. I have over 70 college credit hours, and most of them are in ECE (Early Childhood Education). Some professional experiences I have working with children are the daycares I worked at in the early 2000s. At Active Little Explorers for example, I became a toddler lead from 2006-2009. In 2009 I chose to switch back to working in healthcare. I have been a Certified Nurses Aide and Home Health Aide for over 20 years. I’m a compassionate and caring person as well as dependable and punctual. I enjoy working with children, teaching them, watching them learn, and having fun! I would love an opportunity to work with your child(ren) while always providing a safe environment. I do have First Aid certification. I do have a clean driving record as well as a clean background. I have been CPR certified many times, but not currently. If that is required, I can obtain it.

Hi there! I am a fun-loving guy who has been working with children since High School, which is where I discovered my love for teaching young people and helping them to discover themselves and grow into wonderful adults! I am a graduate of Kent State University with a bachelor's of science in Early Childhood Education. I am a Paramedic with 10+ years of EMS experience and a former employee of Akron Children's Hospital, which gives me significant experience working with children with special health needs and developmental disabilities. I am currently looking for work that fits around my schedule, I currently work part-time but am also helping to manage and support my mother during cancer treatment. My schedule is generally flexible. As one of few experienced male caregivers on Sittercity, I hope that if you're searching for an energetic, friendly, positive male role model to look after your kids, you'll reach out and see if I'm the right fit for you! I do have numerous families available for references, however, as I've been finding work off a different website for years, most of my reviews are over there! Thanks!

Zach is fantastic with kids young and old! Our youngest son gets anxious when mom and dad are away but he loves when Zach comes over! Our oldest asks for him by name and tells us to leave the house "so Mr. Zach can come play". Zach is knowledge of what kids like and gets right down on their level. He's a positive influence in our household when we're away, he was a big help with getting our three year old ready for preschool (we were at the end of our rope with potty training!) and has helped our almost seven year old iwith his reading! He's patient and has more unique experience than anyone else we found! We can't recommend him enough!
