I am a junior in college with years of experience in childcare. I have a large family and one of my favorite past times of spending time with my younger cousins. I love babysitting because it at least in my experience, encourages kids to learn and engage in their surroundings in a more playful way. I was classically educated, and I have a background and tutoring, and I have personally babysat kids in all age groups some of my main skills are organization, planning, and communication. Hi! I’m Deliliah, and I love working with kids and creating a fun, safe, and caring environment for them. I’m responsible, patient, dependable, and always put children’s safety first. I have experience caring for kids by keeping them entertained, helping with meals and routines, and making sure they feel comfortable and supported. My goal is to give parents peace of mind while making sure their children have a great time!

The past 3 years I gained valuable experience providing regular childcare for multiple families, caring for children in ages ranging from 4 months to 11 years. I would usually watch 1-3 children at a time, occasionally overnight, facilitating fun, hands-on, and educational care. I am currently a student at BGSU Firelands pursuing my bachelor’s degree in social work. I also work as a lifeguard at Castaway Bay, however the season is wrapping up so I will have more time. Being a lifeguard I am First Aid and CPR certified with experience in dealing with emergency situations. I also have a passion for art and love experiencing the world through travel. I am looking for position that works well with my school schedule where I can learn and grow my skills. Above all I have a passion for working with children and am eager to find a role where I can positively engage with and support them.

I enjoy working with children of various ages. I also have experience working in day care, elementary, and middle school. In addition I have experience being a nanny to a family of three kids. I am reliable, caring, and fun. I am a mother and treat children as if they were my own. Children will always be safe in my care. I’m patient, dependable, ServSafe certified, and currently completing my CPR certification. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your child with someone, and I strive to provide the same level of care, attention, and compassion that I’d want for my own family.

I absolutely love kids. In my lifetime, I’ve been paid “under the table”, and I’ve worked for a daycare. I’m also a former employee at Boys and Girls Club of Erie County in Ohio. I would love to get the opportunity to work with your children and/or take care of them.
