Hello, my name is Beth, I love children. I am the oldest of a very big family, and I’ve always just had a very special place in my heart for children, I believe that they are a blessing! I’ve been babysitting for about two years now, and it’s just so fulfilling to me!

I am currently a Year 2 undergraduate student at Bowling Green State University, majoring in Adolescence to Young Adult Spanish Education. I have prior experienced in paid babysitting for a year as my mom suggested it would be a great fit for me (I babysat my mom’s friends’ children while they’re at work or need extra assistance). Currently, I volunteer at La Conexión at First Presbyterian Church, where I look after a group of children of Hispanic background, in addition to helping them with homework or ESL. Babysitting is a great job for students like me who are looking to make some money to support our education while looking after the children, interacting with them, and playing with them. I had some experience teaching elementary students as well. I practiced CPR back in high school, and am committed to pursuing a CPR + First Aid certification for my future career as a teacher. I’m very skilled in Spanish/English communications, technology, time management, organization, and problem solving. Many friends, family members, and even professors agreed I have a sense of creativity when it comes to planning activities to engage the kids and make learning fun! I am able to do laundry, have someone to ride with, be patient with all types of kids, and overall stepping out of my comfort zone. Hello! I’m a graduate student at the University of Dayton pursuing a career in school psychology. I work part time at a school as a school psychologist assistant and have class at night. This leaves some availability for me to help out with some families that are looking for child care! I have babysat since I was 15 years old, including a permanent nanny position my senior year of high school and several positions throughout my time at OSU for undergrad in Columbus.
