Hi! My name is Addison, and I’m an 18 year old senior at Fairfield Union High School. I’ve always loved being around kids and have several years of babysitting experience with children ranging from 2 months to 14 years old. I’m CPR certified and confident in handling all aspects of childcare—from playtime and homework help to meals and bedtime routines. Along with kids I can always pet sit for short or extended periods of time! Growing up with siblings and animals has taught me to be patient, responsible, and caring. I charge $4 an hour , per child. I am open 7 days a week , 6am - 12am. I offer full time , part time , occasional and emergency care.

I have watched many different age groups thanks to having worked in a daycare center for six years. When I began I was part-time and went to all the different rooms, so I worked with all the children from the infants to the school-agers (in the summer). I eventually decided to work there full-time as a toddler teacher in the potty-training room because I loved being around the kids so much. Sadly, that daycare center in Columbus ended up closing. I moved back home to Newark, OH to be closer to my family. I do not have any children of my own but I enjoy the time I do get to spend with my four nieces and my nephew. In 2016, I moved to Canal Winchester and married my soulmate. We have 2 dogs (Catfish & Daisy) who are are some spoiled pups. I usually like to try to do an art/craft project with the children. I always clean up any mess that is made, but I do believe the messier the project is, the more fun the child will have and the more creative he/she can be. I will ask you in advance if this is ok to do. I love to read and I will read to the children. A few of my favorite authors of kid's books are David Shannon, Sandra Boynton, Eric Carle, and of course, Dr Seuss.  

I watch children, toddlers, tweens, and teens. I make sure they are fed, help them calm down quickly (if needed) so they dont get overwhelmed but in a calmly manner, and ensure they are taken care of appropriately! I help put them to bed for naps and help keep them entertained! Im also really good with special needs/ autistic children since i have first hand experience with my 6 year old nephew who does have autism! I love interacting with kids and having fun all day!! As my 10 year old neice once told me "your never told old to anything!" And that has been my mindset ever since!
