I do not have any paid experience babysitting, but I love kids and would love to get into sitting! I am 19 years old and just finished my first semester of college at Capital University. I have twin cousins that I have unpaid experience watching. I am also the oldest of 3, I have a younger sister and brother. I am a nursing major, so I have cpr and first aid certifications. I have pets of my own and work well with pets. I am very much a “type a” person, so I am organized and punctual. I take pride in my ability to be responsible and take on roles. I am also working as a server and am looking for a second job with set hours that won’t conflict with my other job (for example, mornings or afternoons monday-thursday or just weekends), something that would still allow me plenty of time for serving hours.

I’m currently finishing (Senior year) Early Childhood education at Heartland Technical Education School. I help run a preschool. We create lessons plans and learning activities such as math games, art activities, science experiments, reading actives etc. I’m CPR, First aid, AED, And lifeguard certified (lifeguard until October). Worked as a live in nanny for three children under the age of 8. Duties included- light house work, transportation to and from daycare, created a day time and evening routine for the children. Comforting them when they have emotional days and or anger meltdowns. I work well with neurodivergent children. I also babysit another family regularly. One child has autism and the other two are neurodivergent.

I typically don’t charge by the hour. I charge a flat rate. I also babysit in my home. I have a sandbox, trampoline, and soon a pool. The pool has the ladder removed when not in use and has a cover that is anchored down. My backyard has a privacy fence with a locked gate. I’m equipped to take infants to teenagers. I have experience working with disabled children and adults. I used to work at RNI. Meals will be prepared fresh and not canned meat. Only canned food would be vegetables and fruit! Two meals and two snacks are included.
