Wouldn't have it any other way!! the oldest is 23 and youngest is 12. Only two at home everyone else have moved on there own!! I also have a 2yr old grand daughter! Our family has two stores located in two different malls. We are getting ready to close the one I run currently so I am looking for something else to do with my time instead of staying home!! I have graduated in 2000 with an Early childhood education degree. I have worked in the childcare field for over 15 yrs. I have such a passion to care for children!! To watch them learn and grow!! I have a very soft motherly touch I feel I always have a great connection with infants toddlers school age kids and teen!!!!

I have always enjoyed working with children of all ages. Ever since I was about 10 years old I’ve babysat for friends and family. When I was in high school I went to vocational school for Early Childhood Education for 2 years and worked in a state licensed preschool, working with infants all the way up to 5 year olds. I planned lessons and taught. Through and after high school I worked at a YMCA in childwatch for a couple hours while parents came to work out or take classes, working with children from infant to 10 year olds. My youngest brother was special needs and required a lot of medical assistance. I have always had a child around me growing up, between my siblings/ relatives. I also used to coach little league cheerleading, that includes all three levels. Kids are my passion. I’m currently working with toddlers at the Goddard school in boardman and was just teacher of the month in January, and then teacher of the year in 2024. I love what I do and how much kids love me. I’ve also been told I’m the potty training whisperer! I will be going to the police academy in the fall. Classes are 6-10 pm but I would still be available as I still need to be getting paid:)
