Hi! I’m Logan, and I’m 20 years old! I’m a college student who has always loved working with kids and being someone they can feel comfortable and safe around. I’ve been babysitting since I was a freshman in high school and have also worked in two daycares, giving me experience with children of different ages and personalities. I currently work at an ABA therapy clinic as a Behavior Technician, where I work one-on-one with children and help support their development and individual needs. This has given me even more experience working with children with autism and has taught me the importance of patience, understanding, consistency, and creating a positive environment for every child. I’m a very caring, responsible, and patient person, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each child and their personality. Whether we’re playing outside, doing crafts, reading, helping with homework, or having a movie night, I’m always happy to keep them entertained while making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I’m currently attending Rose State College online, and I hope to eventually work as a child and teen therapist. I have been an unpaid babysitter my entire life. I have also been a nanny and a daycare teacher. My family lost a child in 2011 due to a nanny's negligence and it was actually what made me want to be in childcare. So I could make sure another family didn't have to experience the same loss mine did. That is something I wouldn't wish on anyone. I was a CNA for about 2 years so I have had CPR and first aid training. I am planning on getting those 2 things renewed. I am competent, calm under pressure, and I genuinely love and care for all children. At my church I am the go to helper/carer for any kids, from a room full of kids ages 3-12, to one on one with an infant. I especially love holding babies during our main services, so young parents can focus on the sermon or older toddlers. I have taken and completed first aid courses, and cpr courses. Plus my many years of real time experience with my own children.
