I've been babysitting where and when I can for the past five years and have come to find that I absolutely love working with children. My college major is Psychology and I would love to work as a Physician's Assistant someday. The love for medicine sparks from childhood stories of my great-grandmother, a nurse so loved that children would come in asking for something as simple as a bandaid in order to see her. I've grown to accept her passion for the hurting and the sick and hope to carry on something great in her honor. Back to babysitting, I have watched children of all ages from the early months up to about eight or nine. I'm comfortable with newborns though I've had little experience, toddlers and those curious digits up to five are probably my favorite to work with, and the older they get, it becomes easier to have awesome conversations with the young men and women they're becoming. I've worked in church nurseries, specifically First Wesleyan and First Baptist of Bartlesville, but if you're not a religious family I can assure you that I will not be shoving my beliefs at your children. I respect the household and their rules and that's final. I do have my CPR certificate, however I honest to goodness cannot find it after moving so many times, but my mother and her husband are both Registered Nurses, so I've been thought and re-enlightened very well.
