I’ve always loved working with kids because they bring much joy and energy wherever they go. Ever since I was little, I dreamed about being a teacher because I loved helping children learn and grow. As I got older, that passion turned into something even bigger when I graduate from high school (class of 2026) I plan to go to college to become a pediatrician so I could continue helping kids differently. Hi! My name is Kaiya, and I am young but have lots of experience working with children. From 2018-2020, I worked as a summer camp counselor and before/after school counselor to children ages 4-13 at my community recreational center. In college, I was a residential youth care worker at a group foster home for boys ages 12-18. My roles at both places included supervision, transportation, planning and engaging in activities, and mentoring the children.
