While I may not have much paid experience as your ideal candidate, I assure you I am just as valuable a sitter as someone with many years under their belt. This is due to my experience raising my 6 cousins throughout my high school and community college years. I have also volunteered at places like Vacation Bible School and YMCA programs with children of all ages. So, while my experience wasn’t paid, it was just as valuable. I absolutely love children! I grew up helping care for younger siblings and went on to study human development in college. I graduated with an emphasis in family studies and learned a lot about child development. I worked as a preschool teacher in Southern Utah before spending two years abroad as an English teacher to children ages 2-12. I have volunteered with children in a Chinese orphanage and worked with children in a number of different capacities.
