I have raised 2 sons, taken care of many ill and injured children during a 20 year nursing career, volunteered in elementary school class rooms, and I have been the neighborhood Grandmother in areas I have lived. I live with my two cats Leo and Happy. I also have an indoor rabbit named Shadow. I absolutely love children! I grew up helping care for younger siblings and went on to study human development in college. I graduated with an emphasis in family studies and learned a lot about child development. I worked as a preschool teacher in Southern Utah before spending two years abroad as an English teacher to children ages 2-12. I have volunteered with children in a Chinese orphanage and worked with children in a number of different capacities. I currently have a full time job working with elderly and disabled adults and am available for weekend and date nights. I love arts and crafts, dancing, animals, and anything outdoors. I was a School Bus Driver for Mid Columbia Bus Company for 6 years when I lived in Hermiston Oregon. I moved here to Salem Oregon 2 years ago. The insurances are different here because it's not rural like Hermiston so I can't have my kids with me while I drive routes like I was able to all 6 years I drove with MidCo. So I work night shifts in order to be home daily with my kids while my husband works. I love kids. I used to have all sorts of fun on my bus and was actually labeled the fun bus driver for Umatilla County. I have been doing daycare since I was 15 years old. I'm currently 31 and have more experience now than ever with youth. I am CPR and First Aid Certified. I used to take care of 78 kids daily for 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the after noon and occasionally a few hours in the middle of the day on different routes.
