Hi! A bit about me. 2020 was a year of change for everyone. Me, I retired after 40 years in the acute care medical field and became an empty nester! I've always loved children and would have had a houseful of my own had I started at a younger age. I worked in Urgent Care and ER facilities for at least 12 of the last 20 years, medical assisting and performing Imaging studies. I am also certified in CPR. I had a BCI background check done 5 years ago in order to participate in Austintown Fitch Band Parent activities and a consumer background check in 2017 for a job. I will be happy to provide that documentation or have more current check performed if you want. While I don't have recent paid childcare experience, my years of hands-on care is vast. I babysat to put myself through highschool and college. Most importantly, I raised two sons to become kind, productive human beings. And as you well know parenthood is "Grand Prix" of childcare! My youngest moved out of home in October and I'm finding myself with too much time on my hands. When thinking of what I would love to do in this next chapter of my life, taking care of and playing with kids is at the top of my list. I've always been facinated by kid's minds and their thought processes. I love their innocence and in innate sense of wonder and fun. I'm excellent at entertaining and engaging children of all ages. I'd love to speak with you and meet your children so that you can be comfortable with me caring for your children. 🙂

With over 10 years of experience working with young children and in education, I hold a bachelor’s degree in Child & Adolescent Development from Cal State Fullerton, a master’s in education, and a multiple-subject teaching credential. Little ones have always had a special place in my heart as I have tutored and taught at the elementary level, worked as an Assistant Director of a 40+ year, privately-owned preschool, working in all capacities that were needed, served as an ABA specialist to children with special needs in Orange County, CA, and recently as an intervention tutor for students around the United States. I also happen to have a little 5-year old brother with whom I’ve had the pleasure to nanny, especially at the beginning of the pandemic when he was just a few months old. Over the last five years, I have worked as an elementary teacher (6th grade, 3rd, 4th, and 1st) and currently teach the 1st grade during the school year!

I love working with children! I’m currently working towards my associates in early childhood education at YSU. I have two young sister ones 5 and the other is 7. I have worked with children in different settings since I was 15. I teach swim lessons to children ages 5 and up in the summer. I have taught swim lessons at the JCC of Youngstown ranging from babies to adults. I currently work at Lynne’s little daycare and preschool in Hubbard, oh. I mostly work with the infants and toddlers, but occasionally I get to work with the older children! I coach the East Palestine Marching Band colorguard. I love working with children and watching them grow and know that I took part in their development. I am certified in CPR, First Aid, and AED. I am BCI and FBI background checked. I am also certified in Child Abuse recognition and Communicable disease.

I’m a 19 (soon to be 20) year old girl who absolutely adores kids! I grew up with a large family surrounded by little ones at all times and it really gave me a passion for taking care of them. I also have some professional experience having worked at a preschool/daycare for several months. I tend to come off as very shy but i’m definitely a more relaxed and laid back person. Despite the shyness, kids seem to warm up to me very quickly and always seem to like me! I have a pretty open schedule except Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00a.m-1:00p.m and have my own transportation. Some more things you should know are that I don’t smoke, and I am CPR,AED, and first aid certified.

Hi! My name is KayCee!, and I’m a dedicated childcare professional with a strong background in early childhood education and safety. I hold my Child Development Associate (CDA) credential from the Council for Professional Recognition and have completed extensive training to ensure I can provide the very best care for children of all ages. My certifications include Pediatric First Aid/CPR, Communicable Disease Recognition, Child Abuse Recognition, OSHA-10hr Safety Training, and FEMA NIMS (National Incident Management System). I’ve also completed specialized courses in autism strategies, trauma-informed care, evidence-based practices for toddlers and preschoolers, and child development through Ohio’s quality childcare initiatives and OCALI resources. I’d be honored to support your family and provide reliable, compassionate care for your little ones.

Hi! I’m a calm, creative, and outgoing sitter with over 10 years of childcare experience. I started babysitting as a preteen for family and neighbors, and today I help care for my niece and nephew (ages 2 and 16 months). I love being a part of a child’s story, helping them learn, grow, and feel supported. I actually had a sitter growing up who made such a positive impact on me that I still meet her for lunch to this day! I’m CPR and First Aid certified and comfortable caring for children from potty-trained toddlers to middle schoolers. I’ve done everything from quick date nights to full weekend overnights. I’m happy to help with meal prep, light tidying, homework, and pet care (note: I’m allergic to cats but can usually manage one cat with allergy medication). I have a reliable vehicle and can accommodate two car seats if needed for school pickup or outings. My availability is currently wide open as I search for a new full-time role, and I’m open to both one-time jobs and recurring weekday positions depending on location and rate. I’d love to be someone your kids can look forward to seeing, while giving you peace of mind they’re in capable, caring hands. My standard rate is $18–$20 per hour for one child, with adjustments based on the number of children and specific care needs. I'm open to discussing rates to best fit your family's requirements.
