Favorite aunt and grandma looking to babysit, and happy to help with pets, errands, light cooking and housekeeping. I am available full time or occasionally and willing to travel within 20 miles or so of Eighty Four, PA. I am 60 years old and retired from office work, with a BS in Business Admin from Pitt. I enjoy children of all ages and personalities, having babysat for many years as a teenager and then later enjoying being a close aunt to two boys and devoted step grandma to two more boys. We have two cats and I’m used to helping with my brother’s big dog.

I have been a nanny for over 7 years handling a local household and have also been working for a second family with a toddler. I am looking for part-time work but would consider full time depending upon location. I do light housework if needed.

I love being a sitter because I love helping teach kids and helping them learn new things! I have a 4 year old brother who i've helped raise since he was born and spending time with him is my favorite thing to do. Being that I helped raise him for the last 4 years I've got pretty good experience with all the baby/toddler stage things :)

Hello my name is Deb and I have always loved taking care of children. I started babysitting at a young age and have continued to do so over the years. I have an associate degree in Elementary Ed. My background consists of many years in the medical field as a Medical Assistant. I worked in a level one trauma center emergency room for eleven years. I left there to work in a pediatric office. I worked nine years in the pediatric office. I have been away from that job since 2013. In December 2019 I switched gears and started working in a daycare/preschool. While there I worked with different ages from infants to school age children. Most recently I had been working in the infant room where I tended to three months old through twelve months old. I really enjoyed my time there and became close with the infants. Since I have been a young girl my career goal has always been to work with children in one capacity or another. I am a very nurturing person, my family and friends have always trusted me to take care of their children. In 2018 I watched my husband’s cousin’s baby who at the time was two years old. I watched him several days a week for up to ten hours a day while his parents worked. I continued to babysit him up until December of 2019, when I had to take a full time job. Childcare has always been my passion.

Why I Love Being a Sitter: I have always loved working with children. Coming from a big family, I’ve spent so much time with my siblings, and as they’ve grown older, I’ve realized how much I miss being around little ones and helping them learn and discover new things every day. Being a sitter allows me to make a positive impact in children’s lives while enjoying the joy and curiosity they bring. Experience: I have been working with children since 2019. I love reading and learning and I really like teaching students in a way this integrated learning and requires critical thinking I am a Christian but I don't have to force my religion on other people.
