*I am currently seeking a 30-40 hour a week nanny position in the Lancaster area.* I am a bright, fun, and energetic young lady that has spent many of my teen/college years babysitting and moved into nannying for the 11 years that I lived in New York City. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Child Development and an Associate's Degree in Photography. I am incredibly familiar with food allergies and special dietary needs. I have also taken an advanced Newborn Care Specialist course through the CACHE Accredited company, Newborn Care Solutions. I have taken postpartum doula classes through CAPPA and have completed classes to become a Certified Lactation Consultant. During my time as a full-time nanny in New York City, I have worked with multiple wonderful families with whom I will always have a warm relationship. My primary focus has been with children ages newborn - 5 years of age. My responsibilities have always included setting consistent routines, providing healthy meals & snack options, food introductions, arranging/overseeing play dates, to/from school transportation, age-appropriate activities, potty training, sleep training, light house cleaning pertaining to the children and most importantly providing a safe, nurturing and loving environment for the children to learn and grow. I also carried out some household manager duties during this time as well for the families while the children were in school. A little more about me - I am in the process of moving back home to the Lancaster area to be near my family and starting the job interview process. My hobbies include photography, nutrition, watercolor, reading, working out, practicing embroidery, traveling, and being with my friends, family and my cats as much as possible. My children are all grown. I have been working at a large Commercial Lending Office and would like the flexibility of childcare. I have taught all of my children at home and they have are all successfully grown up and are on their own. I am certified by the red cross in CPR. I have experience with ASD as well as Sensory integration disorder… for over 20 years. I have many references including child care references that I currently work for. The children that I care for now love me and we have a fabulous relationship. I also have experience with twin multiples … over 4 years caring for my daughters two sets of twins.
