I am a married mother of two daughters who are grown and out of the house. I am interested in helping you with your babysitting needs. I am available evenings and weekends. I babysit either in your home or my home. I have done overnights in my house and in the family's home as well. Although I am not available during the day, I would ask that you consider me for evenings and weekends for date nights etc. I am off on Fridays and babysit as needed during the day. I have my Child Abuse Clearances as well as a Criminal Background Check. I live in the Shiloh/West York area. I work full time at Wellspan Health during the day. I am babysitting for several families on an as needed basis for extra income. I love children. I am very hands on and like to spend quality time with the children I babysit for. I am a very loving nurturing person. It is my desire to babysit for so parents have the reassurance that their children are in the hands of a mature trustworthy person I have over 10 plus years caring for multiples - twins and triplets. In the past I have cared for 3 plus families of twins and 4 families of triplets. I’m also very experienced with infants As I mentioned these are not on a regular weekly basis, but as needed. I am definitely available for evenings and weekends for occasional date nights. Please consider me for your babysitting needs. Lisa Bowman

I've been in childcare since I was twelve years old, eighteen entire years! I used to babysit for my mom and dad, as the oldest sibling in my family of seven children. Friends from our community knew I was good with the little kids and asked for me to come and watch theirs, and it all snowballed from there. I've worked in church daycares, at summer camps, for six families as a private child caretaker, in schools as a teacher's assistant and more. I am comfortable working with autism spectrum kids, too, since my a lot of my family are on the spectrum. That's actually how I met my first nanny kiddo; he was on the spectrum and we became friends at the shop I worked at when his mom and he would come in to eat. His mom came in one day and said he loved me and their nanny had to go, so could she pay me a dollar more than what I was getting paid now and full time? It was all very kismet. I worked for them full time for about a year after until I moved. I am super creative but also super responsible. I like the balance of art and productivity. I love making lists and checking them off: it gives me a sense of purpose and calm and tangible proof that I'm making moves in the right direction. I am alllll about finding creative ways to be kind and handle any kind of upset with empathy and compassion and compromise. Not even lots of crying stresses me out; I just view it as another avenue of processing in a big world that kids have, among many others, of getting their feelings out when they feel they can't properly express it with their language. I like to find things to do to change the mood when things like that come up, like a game or a trip, instead of letting them get too stuck in the upset. Or sometimes we sing the Breathing Song from Esme and Roy! My biggest strength as a nanny is my commuication skills with parents. I want to work alongside you as another team member and an advocate for your family! I'm there to make your guys' lives all a little easier. If there's anything to do that would make that happen, I more than want to hear about it and it means so much to me when it's expressed. I show my love and care for people through acts of service, so that's always been a great source of pride for me. I am CPR/First Aid certified, have my own car and am currently working for two families. I started working with their children since they were 6 months and 8 months and they're now both almost 2 and 3.

Hi! My name is Kristen - I'm 31 and live in Camp Hill, PA. I have a full-time job in healthcare, but I wanted to offer babysitting and pet-sitting services on nights and weekends. My husband and I purchased our first home recently and are always saving for new projects! I have passed the following clearances due to the nature of my job: 1. PA State Police Criminal Record Report; 2. Pennsylvania Department of Human Services Child Abuse History Clearance; 3. FBI Department of Human Services Background Report; 4. Substance Abuse (Drug) Testing. I volunteer in the NICU once a week as well! I am the oldest of three and helped take care of my younger sisters growing up. I was a nanny in the summer between high school and college, and have been a date-night sitter for children from 3 months old up to middle school age. I love to read, express creativity through art, and try new restaurants. I have a variety of pets, from a dachshund to a cat, turtle, bearded dragon, and leopard geckos!

Hello, I love interacting with kids of all ages. I am intuitive with children, a good listener, clear communicator and will uphold parent boundaries. I enjoy all sorts of activities with kids, including reading, active play indoors and outdoors, cooking, creative projects, singing, taking trips to the library or park, etc. I can also manage other household and pet care tasks. I have extensive experience with kids, including teaching Spanish and ESL at the high school level, working at summer camps, daycares, nurseries and preschools, subbing at a multi-age self-directed school, tutoring kids with dyslexia and many babysitting and nanny positions. I am fairly fluent in Spanish and love teaching it through songs, games and other activities, if there's interest. I have some experience with kids with ADHD and autism. Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to connecting!

Hey! I'm Brianna. I have a Bachelor's in Molecular Biology, and a Master's in Public Health. I've been babysitting throughout college, and I'm also the oldest of four. I have two siblings that are on the spectrum, one of which also has ODD; between this, and my experience in tutoring centers, I've had significant experience with children who have special needs. I spent my summers working as a camp counselor at Camp Pecometh, where I was responsible for 5-10 children at a time, ages 5-16. On the weekends, I volunteered at my church's nursery, taking care of newborns to 3-year olds. My specialties are craft time, early Spanish education, and kid-friendly snack prep. I have background checks available, as well as additional references. I am fully vaccinated.

Hi! I’m Shambhavi—a University of Pittsburgh graduate with degrees in Sociology and Biology, and someone who’s always had a deep love for working with kids. Even though I’m not a parent myself, I’ve felt like a second mom since I was young. I grew up with a little sister who’s 8.5 years younger than me, and from the time she was born, I was helping out—feeding her, playing with her, doing school drop-offs, and everything in between. That experience really shaped how naturally I connect with children and how much joy I get from caring for them. Professionally, I’ve worked in both healthcare and education. I’m a certified nursing assistant (CNA) and worked as a medical assistant at a pediatric clinic, so I’m confident handling everything from bumps and bruises to more serious situations with calm and care. I’ve also served with AmeriCorps at the Boys and Girls Club, been a camp counselor, and tutored students throughout my entire academic journey—from elementary to college-level subjects. Whether I’m helping with homework, playing make-believe, or calming bedtime worries, I truly enjoy being a positive, supportive presence in a child’s life. Babysitting isn’t just a job to me—it’s something I care deeply about. I’d love to meet your family and learn how I can help support you and your little ones!
