I used to work as a correctional officer and before that I was a direct support professional where I took care of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities but I’m looking for a side job. I have reliable transportation as well as I car, I have diabetes training, I have my child abuse clearance, as well as the other clearances and I have first aid training. In the past I have also worked in daycares. The jobs I’ve had have mainly been where I’m taking care of people. I love working in the fields I have because I know that I am actually helping people who are in need of it. Everyone will tell you I have a big heart, I’m kind, I’m hardworking, and that my biggest strength is caring for others. Kids notice the way you act, they pick up on the words you say, etc. and I feel as though you should need to be a person that can show them how to have the upmost respect for others so they aren’t being taught the wrong thing.
