I have been a babysitter/nanny for 4 years and have been watching siblings and cousins for 6. I have training in CPR and First Aid, have worked with children on the spectrum, and have worked with parents of infants to parents of a 13 year old. I am able to help with housework, meals, homework, routines, and more. I have always had a love for working with children and love the reward of just helping out! Feel free to contact me with any questions/concerns.

Riley was great with our 2 month old. She knew how to feed, chnage, soothe and hold baby. She did all the baby chores (laundry, bottles, diaper station stocking up) as well as keeping the baby engaged. We were sorry to see her go but she's off to bigger adventures and we wish her the very best.

Hi! My name is Katie, and I am a single mom to 2 kids (now young adults 😩)! I have so much love to give, and hope I can give some to your kids too! I was working at an in-home daycare from 2017-2020, but we were closed down due to Covid-19, and my boss then made the decision to not re-open. I LOVED my job mostly bc I loved the kids! I used to own my own daycare back in early 2005- late 2006 but moved to PA from NH and had to close it down. After the daycare closed (in 2020), I spent the next 3 years nannying for 2 different families from the daycare- part time each- for kids the ages of 4 months, 1, 2, 3, 6, and 7 (when I started). Most recently have 2 families with 2 kids each- ages 2, 3, 3, and 5- (started when they were 1 week old, 1, 1 and 3). To give you an idea how I run things- a typical day will look like this: I like to keep the kids on a routine- morning free play, snack, walk (if the neighborhood allows for this with sidewalks etc), craft or coloring sheet/worksheet, lunch, dance “party” usually follows lunch, could be a video with a dance they love like freeze dance or shake your sillies out or we’ll play a board game or do flash cards or puzzles, playtime, storytime, nap time for littles (if there are any), harder craft/games for older kids who don’t nap if they want one, quiet activities if not, I also utilize this time to clean up morning mess and the kitchen from lunch etc. Then it's end of nap time (2 hours), snack, outside play (chalk, bubbles, hopscotch, water games when it's hot etc). I bring all the stuff for crafts, games, and outside play. I also utilize a “prize bucket” if the kids have trouble with listening or getting into routine with the rest of the kids (if there are any). I firmly believe in positive reinforcement over punishment so every time they show good listening skills or do something helpful, they get to pick a prize out of the bucket. For older kids (ages 4+), it works a little differently but still get prizes. I also really enjoy taking the kids to activities/events away from home. We regularly visit local parks, libraries, indoor play places. I will be available Tuesday, Thursday, and weekends starting in June and then also M,W,F starting mid-August. I can start/end whatever hours you need. 😊

Hi! My name is Jessica, and I am looking for part-time babysitting or mother’s helper work while my own children are in school. I am available Monday through Friday, 9am to 3pm, and occasionally for date night sitting. I bring a unique combination of childcare experience and professional background to every family I work with. Early in my career, I worked as a nanny for two families and remain close with both. I also have direct care experience working in an Alzheimer’s unit, a group home for teenage girls who had experienced abuse, and as a caregiver for an individual with MS. For four years, I volunteered at a bereavement center supporting children who had lost a parent or sibling, which remains one of the most meaningful things I have done. After that season of life, I built a 10-plus year career as an HR professional, which has made me organized, dependable, discreet, and highly attuned to communication and trust. I now have three children of my own, ages 10, 9, and 4, so I understand firsthand what families need and what parents are looking for in someone caring for their kids. I am happy to help beyond traditional babysitting as well, including running errands, light housework, and other tasks that make a parent’s day easier. Outside of work, I am very active. I love hiking, gardening, and spending time with my dogs and chickens. I am Girl Scout troop leader for my daughter’s troop. I hold current CPR and First Aid certifications and have experience volunteering as an EMT when I was younger. As a Girl Scout troop leader, my child abuse clearances are renewed every year, and as a volunteer with a crisis hotline, my criminal clearances are updated annually as well. I have also passed FBI fingerprinting. All records and references are available upon request. I would love to connect with your family!

I love being a babysitter because it's fun, rewarding, and something I truly enjoy. I have experience caring for my younger cousins, from infancy through 4 years old. I enjoy creating a safe, loving, and engaging environment where children have fun. I currently work in a nursing home, where I've gained valuable experience in caregiving, housekeeping, and providing compassionate support. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and I understand the importance of safety, patience, and dependability. I would love the opportunity to transition into childcare as a new career because I enjoy caring for others and helping children grow and thrive.
