Hi there! My name is Hillary and I absolutely love working with families and caring for children! I started my career babysitting during high school. While attending college for my art degree, I worked with several families part time. These were so fun and rewarding, that I decided to pursue childcare full-time, with professional nanny positions. For over 15 years I have continued to provide families with individualized care for their children, including experience with newborns and infant twins! Providing help with transportation, overnights, nanny share and pet care are included in my detailed resume, with references available upon request. In between regular positions, I focus on occasional sitting and providing emergency/ back up care. I would be available to fill in, if your primary childcare is unavailable, even with very short notice. I look forward to hearing from you!

Hi, I’m Morgan! If you ask the children I’ve cared for, they’d probably tell you I’m the one who turns ordinary days into little adventures. If you ask their parents, they’ll tell you I’m dependable, calm under pressure, and genuinely invested in helping children thrive. I’ve spent more than a decade caring for children ranging from newborns to elementary school age, including infant twins, multiple children with different schedules, and children with unique developmental needs. Most recently, I spent nearly a year traveling throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Mexico as a private nanny for a touring family, helping an infant experience every milestone—from first teeth to first steps—while maintaining consistent routines across planes, tour buses, hotels, cruise ships, and countless new cities. Whether we’re reading books, exploring outside, practicing colors in English and Spanish, learning baby sign language, or simply building a predictable daily routine, I believe children learn best when they feel safe, loved, and encouraged. Families often describe me as calm, patient, organized, and incredibly adaptable. I enjoy creating structured days while still leaving plenty of room for imagination, laughter, and curiosity. I communicate openly with parents, respect every family’s parenting style, and love becoming part of the team supporting a child’s growth. When I’m caring for your little one, my goal isn’t simply to keep them safe—it’s to help them flourish. I would love the opportunity to get to know your family and become someone your children are excited to see every day.

Morgan was our son’s nanny from the time he was 5mo until he was just over 2yo. Within a matter of weeks, Morgan quickly became part of our family, working with our son daily M-F from 9-5p. There were always educational activities and field trips planned for him; he was very well cared for. Morgan is very dedicated and pays great attention to detail when it comes to caring for littles. I would say Morgan’s specialty is newborn through 1.5yo— which is why for so many, Morgan’s nickname is the “baby whisperer.” We continue to hire Morgan as our first line sitter for our now 3.5yo son, because we always trust that Morgan has his best interests at heart.

Caring for kids has always been something I truly love. I do my best to create a safe, fun, and loving environment where little ones can play, learn, and feel comfortable. I’ve cared for children of all ages — from tiny newborns to busy school-agers — and being a parent myself helps me understand how important trust and reliability are. I’m CPR, BLS, and infant care certified, with a background in healthcare. I also have a clean background check and driving record. Families can count on me to be patient, dependable, and attentive to each child’s unique needs.

I am a mother to a wonderful almost 6 year old. I have always been the one to help out in the nursery at church and help with friends and family that needed help. Most of my experience has been caring for close family and friends so much of my experience has not been paid. I love providing enrichment activities and watching how children learn and the light bulb goes off. I have a Bachelors of Science in Health Sciences, which was an emphasis of Occupational Therapy as that was my goal to complete the combined Masters of OT with that. So I take that background and the classes in child development and care with me. I have been cpr and first aid certified several times over the last 12 years. I love to play and have as much screen free time as possible. Children are learning how to interact and survive in this world, so are we, we just have had more years to get better.

I just retired as a tenured professor and I want to engage in that which I have always most enjoyed; working with children 3-6 years old. I was a single mother who always had my son and his pals with whom I engaged in the most rewarding activities of discovery with them, be it reading with them, doing nature hikes, giving them pony rides (we live on a horse farm), or taking them to museums. I also worked many summers on Martha’s Vineyard at the Karey Children’s camp which was so rewarding. I miss the intellectual curiosity of children because college students seem to have lost it due to the over reliance on technology. I am very physically fit, ride three times a week, hike, and swim weekly. I have traveled the world to all over Europe, Scandinavia, the Caribbean, but now is not the time to travel, so I would love to be able to enjoy my new free time making a difference in a child’s life. Every College & University in Maryland requires FBI fingerprinting and checks, as does TSA pre-check. I have all of those clearances and am not paying to duplicate that here. I have a LinkedIn profile with my professional record and endorsements which you are free to access. I have many colleagues with young children who can attest to my babysitting skills, as well as parents of friends. I just, obviously, have not done it professionally during the time I have been a full-time professor. I am someone who will energetically interact with your child (not be distracted {as my students are by their phones} continuously). I would only allow "screen time" if you do so as part of your parenting. I personally think it is one of the biggest issues inhibiting the healthy curiosity and intellectual development of children. I am committed to inspiring a sense of wonder in nature and a love of reading. I will also respect whatever your parenting entails. I look forward to working with you and your child and hope to give you the peace of mind that experienced, older caregivers gave me when I was raising my son.
