I currently work with children (first aid, CPR certified) and would like to use my free time to offer childcare for working/ busy parents who need a free minute to run errands or a night away from the kids. I have worked with children extensively both through my career and babysitting jobs. I have experiencing with tutoring and teaching material to students of all ages for many years if your child ever needs homework help or wants to engage in educational activities. Right now, I’m only accepting one-time or occasional weekend jobs due to my current schedule. My goal is to offer a night off for parents or an extra pair of eyes on weekends as needed. Although, I’m unavailable as a long term sitter, I’d love to be considered for an on-call/back-up position on evenings or weekends that your regular sitter may be unavailable. The first family I worked for had 6 children including a set of twin baby boys. One family, that I still currently work for has 5 boys under the age of 13 and I have a great relationship with the mom and kids! I love kids and try to always take an interest in what they like and respecting what they dislike. I like to do crafts with kids, play outside, come up with imaginary games for their toys, and even play video games together (tho to warn you, I’m pretty bad at it!) I also think it is very important to follow all rules/guidelines put in place by the parents. I’m always punctual and if for some reason I was running late, I would call ahead to tell you. If you have pets, that’s great! I don’t mind at all. If you have a pool and are concerned about the safety of your kids, I can swim and am CPR certified.
