I first discovered my love for childcare in 2015, when I worked as an au pair for a 3‑year‑old boy. From 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., I was by his side, preparing his meals, getting him ready for daycare, administering his asthma treatment, helping with his math and English homework, taking him to after‑school activities three days a week, giving him his evening shower, and gently settling him into bed.
