I am a University of Massachusetts studying Early Childhood Education who has multiple experiences with children varying from teaching Sunday school to working at a summer camp to babysitting to nannying for the 2020-2021 school year to being a daycare teacher. On my journey I have collected books, games, learning materials, and toys for kids. I have worked with special needs and behaviors in the past. Having been in therapy myself I am aware of psycho and physiological strategies for helping one manage their body that I can share with your family. All of my childcare clearances and child cpr and first aid certificates have been renewed as of this year. I love to cook, clean, and organize. I also have experience caring for dogs, rodents, fish, and farm animals so any pets will not scare me. I can play piano, sing, and speak German and am willing to teach these skills to your kids if desired.

I am certified in First Aid and CPR. I also hold clearances for both child abuse and criminal history. I am a happily married mother to three wonderful teenagers. For the past 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of working as an assistant at The Center for TMJ and Sleep Disorders, where I’ve helped patients regain their quality of life. This has been an incredibly fulfilling and educational experience, but I’m now ready to return to my true passion—caring for our youngest, most precious ones. Nurturing infants is something I’m truly passionate about. I understand that every child is unique, requiring care tailored to their individual needs and development. I firmly believe in offering age-appropriate stimulation to promote healthy development, and I am a strong advocate for limiting screen time. I also love spending time outdoors and have found that children who spend time outside are often calmer, happier, and sleep better. I am looking to provide care from my home.

I have 23 years of experience in the Early Childhood Education field. I hold an Associates Degree in Elementary Education and acquire 24 hours of professional development training per year. I started my teaching career at the Pottstown YMCA in 2000. I have been in numerous teaching roles from aide, assistant and lead teacher. Currently, I work for the Pottstown School District as an assistant in a Pre K Counts classroom of 20 children, ranging from 3-5 years old.
