Hello my name is Deb and I have always loved taking care of children. I started babysitting at a young age and have continued to do so over the years. I have an associate degree in Elementary Ed. My background consists of many years in the medical field as a Medical Assistant. I worked in a level one trauma center emergency room for eleven years. I left there to work in a pediatric office. I worked nine years in the pediatric office. I have been away from that job since 2013. In December 2019 I switched gears and started working in a daycare/preschool. While there I worked with different ages from infants to school age children. Most recently I had been working in the infant room where I tended to three months old through twelve months old. I really enjoyed my time there and became close with the infants. Since I have been a young girl my career goal has always been to work with children in one capacity or another. I am a very nurturing person, my family and friends have always trusted me to take care of their children. In 2018 I watched my husband’s cousin’s baby who at the time was two years old. I watched him several days a week for up to ten hours a day while his parents worked. I continued to babysit him up until December of 2019, when I had to take a full time job. Why I Love Being a Sitter: I have always loved working with children. Coming from a big family, I’ve spent so much time with my siblings, and as they’ve grown older, I’ve realized how much I miss being around little ones and helping them learn and discover new things every day.
