Hi! My name is Mackenzie and I am currently a senior at Penn State majoring in Communication Sciences and Disoders! I’m hoping to become a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist. I have spend the past few summers working as a preschool/ toddler teacher in a daycare back home and I love working with children. I have my first aid and CPR certification along with childcare certificates.

I am currently a teacher at a local preschool and have been teaching since 2022. I graduated from Penn State August 2023, with a bachelor’s in Psychology and Early Childhood Education credits. I am working on completing my ECE schooling. I love working with children because there’s nothing better than being able to teach and guide them into a healthy and positive development. I also enjoy teaching them new things about the world that strikes their creativity and imagination. I have all of my clearances such as mandated reporter, NSOR, child abuse, etc.

I am the oldest of 3 boys and I have watched my two younger brothers my entire life. Also, when I was in high school I would baby sit for my neighbor who had two younger kids. I really enjoy helping people out by watching their kids, when they are busy. I am a very trustworthy individual and very energetic. I am very caring and love to have fun.

Hi there! My name is Angela, but I prefer Angie. I am 27 years old. I have an amazing 11-year-old brother that I practically raised myself. I am an Animal lover, I have a dog, 2 cats, a few fish, a rabbit, and a hamster! During the past three year I have had the pleasure at working at some of the centers around town. While I was there I worked with a variety of age groups ranging from (1.5-2.5yrs), (3-5) (Pre-K) as well as infants (2mo-18mo). I do have all of my clearances, check ups, back ground checks, trainings (such as first aid and CPR) as well as training early childhood development. I have worked in a daycare for 3 years, I've been a PCA (Personal Care Aide) through CenClear, and I have babysat and nannied for multiple families as well. I have all of my clearances and I am CPR certified! I have always had a love and passion for children, especially watching my mother my whole life work in multiple school districts doing multiple different things and also running an in-home daycare out of pur home growing up! Being around kids and helping them to grow and care for them has always been something that I have felt very strongly about!

Over the past few years, I have worked at Gate Hill Day Camp and have lots of volunteer experience that includes taking care of children and tutoring in English. This past year I became a DSP for those with disorder and have been CPR certified and SCIP certified( Strstegic crisis intervention prevention). I am a very fun and energetic person and I love animals so it’s very easy for me to adapt to new environments as I’m always eager to meet new people!
