My name is Holly. I am 27 and currently working as a Certified Child Life Specialist at a local children’s hospital. I have my Master of Science in Child Life from the College of Charleston. While pursuing my masters degree, I completed a 120 hour practicum at a pediatric hospital in Charleston, SC as well as just completed a 605 hour internship at a pediatric hospital in Baltimore, MD. As part of my program, I gained vast knowledge and comprehension in child development and structuring developmentally appropriate play activities. While in Charleston, I also worked as a nanny for a vacation nanny agency, nannying children between the ages of 3 months to 12 years in addition to holding many consistent babysitting gigs with local families. Prior to pursuing a masters degree, I worked as a behavioral health technician for a local outpatient behavioral health center and an inpatient child and adolescent mental health unit providing ABA therapy and leading group therapy sessions with my BS in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh.
