A little bit about myself, I don't have much paid experience but I do have 2 kids of my own and I was Newborn Hearing Screen Technician at the Chambersburg Hospital until Wellspan ending the contract with the company I worked for. Then there were no jobs available close by. I've done CPR and First Aide training. I've been a stay at home mom for 6 years. I'm compassionate and empathetic. My name is Dessirae Jones and I am a mother of 4 beautiful children. I love being a sitter because I know that it is not easy doing life and caring for your children. We all could use a little help with our little ones. I worked in daycare for three years and I was a teacher assistant in Montessori for one year. I am experienced in diapering, feeding, preparing meals, napping, soothing, creating art activities and engaging in outdoor play. This is just to name a few things but definitely not limited.

I am a current college freshman at Shippensburg University. While I have very little paid babysitting experience. I do have significant experience with children. (two younger sisters) I am available every morning up until 9 AM, I am also available Monday and Wednesday weekday after 6:30, Tuesday and Thursdays after 4, as well as the whole weekended every other weekend. I have skills in child care, cooking, housekeeping, homework help, and much more.

I am comfortable with dogs as long as they are not in the same space I am in. A dog outside or in a separate room is fine. Ideally no dogs at all. I started working with children in my teen years. I also have six younger siblings and would have had experience helping with them. I spend spare time writing, sewing, listening to music or other audio, watercoloring, enjoying outdoors, some reading, enjoying friends and family, traveling, playing table games. My skills include caring for small babies under one year and other children two years and under. Diaper changing, bottle feeding, putting to sleep, and finding things to entertain them.
