I believe in the power of nature as a tool for education and love to spend time exploring outdoors, getting messy, and encouraging growth through play. My 40 years of experience include potty training, establishing sleep routines, and encouraging healthy relationships with food. I would describe my personality as silly & energetic and my caregiving style as responsive & respectful. I am kind, patient, and extremely reliable. I am seeking a long term position with 30 or more guaranteed hours that will begin in the fall of 2023. I am a Rhode Island native who now resides across the RI/CT border, and I am open to traveling approx. 20 miles . I am covid vaccinated, with a clean driving record and no criminal background. Prior to nannying, I ran a licensed home daycare in the State of Rhode Island. I have a lifetime of experience to share with you.

I am writing to wholeheartedly recommend Leanne for any position involving child care or child development. For several years, Leanne served as the nanny to my two children, from infancy through their early childhood years. During this time, she exhibited unparalleled dedication, compassion, and skill in managing the unique and challenging needs of my family. Leanne began caring for my youngest child as an infant, expertly navigating the demanding requirements of early childhood care. She continued this exemplary care until he reached four years old and transitioned to full-time preschool. Simultaneously, she also cared for my older son, from the age of three until he was nearly seven. This dual responsibility showcased Leanne’s exceptional ability to balance the needs of children at different developmental stages. One of the most remarkable aspects of Leanne’s care was her ability to interact with and nurture my nonverbal autistic son. Her patience, understanding, and tailor-made approaches to his needs were nothing short of extraordinary. Her ability to communicate effectively with him, despite the challenges of his nonverbal condition, was a source of relief and comfort to our family. Leanne's professionalism extends beyond her direct interactions with the children. Her decision-making skills are impeccable, and I trusted her judgment implicitly when it came to the well-being of my children. Her calm and composed demeanor, even in the most challenging situations, made her an invaluable presence in our home. She is unflappable, a quality that is essential in the unpredictable world of child care. Moreover, Leanne's versatility and resourcefulness were evident in her ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to the varying needs of each child. Her commitment to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment has had a lasting positive impact on my children’s development. In conclusion, Leanne is a remarkable individual whose expertise in child care is exceptional. Her dedication, skill, and compassionate approach make her an outstanding candidate for any position involving the care and development of children. I wholeheartedly recommend her without any reservations and am confident that she will be an asset to any family or organization fortunate enough to work with her

My name is Heather Wall and I'm a proud mom of two great college students. I am RI Early Learning Standards and CPR/1st Aid certified and have been employed as a preschool teacher, a full-time nanny/family manager, overnight care provider and have owned a family entertainment/party venue for young children. For the past few years I have been involved in a nanny-share arrangement working from a large dedicated space in my home for a few families with children who are now aged 18 months to 3 years old. At this time I am able to take an additional child on Monday and Thursday after 11:30 a.m. and anytime on Tuesdays or Fridays. I am also happy to provide childcare in your home on evenings or weekends anywhere in NK, Saunderstown, North Narragansett, SK or Exeter. I have or course taken a plethora of classes in childcare, behavior management, etc. and have plenty of of tricks up my sleeve to keep kids entertained and redirect negative behaviors when needed. Several of the families that have attended my preschool program have used me to care for their children for weekends while they were away or as overnight sitter when needed. I'm comfortable with food allergies, infant led weaning , ASD and ADHD management/protocols and happy to be in a home with pets. In my free time I enjoy hiking, skiing, kayaking and paddle boarding. I look forward to hearing from you and encourage you to ask to speak to any of my former employers for more information about me.

Working with kids has always been a passion of mine. Since Ive turned 12 I have taken any babysitting job offered. I have two nephews and a niece that I have helped take care of since birth. I have worked with kids of all ages through summer camps, clubs and babysitting. I am a current daycare teacher working primarily with infants and toddlers, however I have experience with all ages. Working with children is a very rewarding experience and something that I appreciate fully. Their positive outlook and imagination always makes me smile. I love to help children embrace their creativity while giving them comfort and safety at the same time.

I am a caring young adult. In the past, I've worked as a substitute teacher in Warwick School District, K-12, where I gained valuable experience working with children of various ages. This background has helped me develop patience, creativity, and effective communication skills, all of which I bring to babysitting. Currently, I work in the medical field, which has further strengthened my ability to stay calm, think quickly, and ensure the safety and well-being of others. Whether it’s helping with homework, playing games, or making sure your child is well cared for, I’m confident I can provide a fun and safe environment.

I am a Nanny because I love children and I love being with them and caring for them in a home setting. One of my strengths is teaching children confilct resolution and how to effectively communicate their feelings. My curriculum approach includes assessing where the child is developmentally, and planning activities that support their development; physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually. I really enjoy cooking with children, doing art activities, reading, singing, puppets, and spending time with them outdoors. I particularly enjoy spending time with preschoolers because they love to play and interact with adults. I am a very hard worker, as I take pride in seeing the fruits of my labor. I've been told by others that I am a very good listener, am patient, gentle, dependable, and a good team player. These qualities, as well as my many years of childcare experience, along with my Associates Degree from Wheelock College in Boston make me a very good candidate for anyone seeking a successful nanny.
