Hello, I am Jacarra, I am 27 years old and I love what I do. I’ve been babysitting for about 10 years and iv’e worked in a daycare for a couple years. Some duties I’ve had over the years as a babysitter included ensuring a safe environment, I would prepare and serve meals, bathed and dressed children if needed. Do lots of arts and crafts, playing outside and going to parks and beaches in the summer time! If they needed medicine, checked on allergies with parents, helped with homework and anything else needed. I currently clean houses so wouldn’t mind tidying up some. I have worked with children most of my life. I used to babysit for neighborhood children when I was growing up. I then went to college for Business Administration but also completed the requirements for teacher certification in Pre-K to Grade 2. I worked for several years with Head Start and then at a child development center (for more than 12 years) in several roles from teaching to administration. I am CPR/First Aid/AED certified (a given,) have a squeaky-clean DMV/BCI check and a non-smoker. Infant care: bottle-feedings, solid foods - all down pat... I have a passion for the arts - Broadway show tunes, children love them! I focus on age-appropriate activities, have collected a wealth of craft project archives and I am well-versed in children's literature; I am a Play-Doh goddess, good for the little ones.
