I have been babysitting for different families for 2-3 years now and I have cared for my younger siblings and cousins when I was younger. I have also worked at a children’s tutoring center and in the childcare room at the YMCA gym so I have experience with children of all ages. I enjoy babysitting and getting to know the families that I babysit for.

Hi, I’m Priscilla! I’m 18 years old and have years of childcare experience. I started babysitting at 13 and have worked with kids ever since! I’ve served in my church nursery for several years, worked at a children’s daycare this past summer, and I regularly babysit my three nephews, all under the age of 2. I attended one semester of college but decided to sit out and focus on working. Childcare has always been part of my life and I love the opportunity to connect with little minds . Whether it’s engaging in playtime, helping with homework, or maintaining routines, I’m committed to providing loving and dependable care. As a Christian, I value patience, kindness, and responsibility in everything I do. I’d love to connect and see how I can support your family!

Hi! My name is Shania. I work at The Scoop Ice cream shop in Six Mile. I have a little brother that’s 3 years old. (I’ve had the luxury of being the only child for a while-jokes). I have 3 dogs, so I’m very comfortable with pets. (been trying to convince my parents to get cats). I go to Clemson University! My dad coaches football there, so my family and I are big football fans. I love kids, so I’m so excited to be able to have the opportunity to have a part in their life, while I’m with them! I live in Clemson as well so I’m able to babysit there! I’m CPR Certified! And I have experience working with newborns up to 15 year olds. If you have any questions feel free to reach out!

My child care philosophy is based on the importance of connecting, be empathetic, and being consistent. I love working with children because of their curiousity and enthusiasm for life. If they want something they go for it. These are qualities that need be nurtured and encouraged. They are amazed by the world and all the opportunities it provides and we are here to help them develop emotionally, physically, and mentally to be able to achieve life goals. I encourage exploration; try new foods, turn the rock over and see what is under it, make that craft. I’m there guide and say okay we used the scissors but if we run with the scissors there’s a likely chance we could get hurt. Make chalk drawings on the sidewalk but the street is for cars and here’s is why. To teach in a manner that is kind but will also be remembered and then always enforce and be consistent with those teachings. For newborns and infants I focus connection and including them in daily life. To help them touch water from the sink, to feel the puppies fur, to hold grass and smell flowers. To go places and see new things. To introduce them to children, go to reading class learn to sit still for 5 minutes at a time. To know that they have someone that cares about their needs and emotions. For the parents and the childcare provider its important to have open communication and relay information as needed. If necessary to create schedules so the parents know what’s going on and where or if plans change, send a quick text. “Hey, Sarah’s being a extra cranky we are leaving the reading class and going home to check her temperature and see what’s going on. I’ll send you an update soon”. I love working with families to create a worry free, happy, and healthy lifestyle for their children.

Hi, I’m Ali Schott! I’m a 20-year-old nursing student at Clemson University, originally from Texas. For the past three years, I’ve worked with children as a camp counselor at a daycare and summer camp. I have experience with kids ranging from 5 to 13 years old daily, and I’m also very comfortable caring for children as young as 1 year old—often stepping in to cover for teachers in younger age group rooms. Working with kids is something I truly love. Every day is different, and there’s never a dull moment! My goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and fun environment where kids can just be kids. Whether it’s playtime, learning, or just helping them feel comfortable and supported, I bring energy, patience, and a caring attitude to everything I do. I’m excited to meet your family and provide dependable, compassionate care!
