Hello! I’m Sarah, and I live in Rock Hill, South Carolina. My uncle lives in Bluffton, and while I visit often, I would love to make those trips more frequent. I’m looking to connect with families who need babysitting in the Bluffton area one to two weekends per month, whether for date nights or daytime care. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Winthrop University, where I completed an internship with the Department of Juvenile Justice. I recently began working with the South Carolina Department of Child Advocacy and am currently pursuing a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling. I have extensive experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to teenagers. I’ve cared for up to six children at a time, including twins! I enjoy getting to know each child’s personality and interests while providing a safe, caring, and fun environment. I love helping children learn through play, planning creative activities, and encouraging their curiosity. I value consistent routines and follow each family’s schedules and preferences. I also enjoy keeping children active through outdoor activities, whether we’re visiting a park, exploring a nature center, or walking a local trail. I currently work seven days a week, and I don’t mind staying busy! I have weekend commitments at a horse breeding farm, so I’m looking to arrange babysitting in advance to coordinate those responsibilities with my trips to Bluffton. Outside of work and school, I enjoy spending time with horses and my dog, Meka. I love hiking, camping, traveling, and exploring the mountains and wide-open spaces of the western United States.
