My name is Amy, I have two boys ages 17 & 23. I was a stay-at-home mom for 9 years, and loved every minute of it. After my boys got older I returned to the work world where I discovered I missed being with the kids, and I was told I would be an excellent nanny by a friend of mine that I had helped years previously. Since I have some education in early childhood care I recently decided to be a nanny and leave the office. I have had the opportunity to take care of my neighbors daughter who will be one in February 2019. I have enjoyed watching and working with her to reach her mile stones from rolling over to almost walking now. I have also taken care of a 2 yr old little boy and enjoyed playing dinosaurs and cars with him. We also would color and played play dough which are both good for their fine motor skills. Hi! I’m Julia, and caring for children has always been a natural part of my life. I’m the oldest of six siblings, so I’ve had years of hands-on experience helping with routines, homework, playtime, and keeping a calm, structured environment. I love being a sitter because I truly enjoy watching kids learn, grow, and feel supported whether that’s through fun activities, teaching moments, or simply being someone they can trust. I also serve as a Sunday school teacher at my church and volunteer at teen/kids camp, where I work with younger children and guide them through lessons, games, and group activities. I am a senior in higschool who just got an apartment and is looking to babysit full time. Once I graduate I will go into college to be a teacher because I absolutely love kids. I already babysit a 17 year old girl with anglemans syndrome. At my school I mentor special education student and teach them how to play games like kickball and soccer.
