In my Junior year of high school, I volunteered for the Buddy Walk. The Buddy Walk was an event to celebrate and recognize children who had been diagnosed with down syndrome. A few things I did were set up raffle stations, supervise games, and ran food stations. At the end of the walk, everyone gathered in a huge circle while we held up pictures of each of the kids. We cheered for them as they walked through and it was the sweetest part of the day.
