I am a mom to 6 grown children. I am also a former elementary PE teacher and middle school coach. When caring for babies cuddling, singing, and reading is a fun way to spend awake times. I know that toddlers and big kids want to stay active and busy! Things I love- being outside, going on nature walks, bike rides and back yard explorations, finding frogs and lizards and making collections of beautiful leaves and rocks. I love birds, throwing baseball, shooting basketball, kicking soccer balls, throwing frisbees and footballs, jumping rope and coloring with side walk chalk. While inside coloring, playing with play doh and reading are my favorites. I enjoy sitting along side as legos or other sorts of creations are developed. I am an undefeated candy land opponent :). I am interested in part time jobs, covering for date nights, one time stays and possibly occasional overnights. Pets are fine with me.

I am a certified teacher with a bachelor's in Early Childhood Education from Clemson and will finish my master's in Early Childhood Education in a week. I am creative, reliable, and hard-working. I love working with kids and making sure they have a fun and safe time! I have ten years of experience working with children of all ages, and I have taken child growth and development classes. I was the primary teacher in a weekly program for infants to 6-year-olds, was a camp counselor at multiple camps for preschoolers to high schoolers, was a nanny for families with toddlers, and have taught a year of 2nd grade. I am the oldest of 9 children so I grew up taking care of my siblings and other families' kids from my church and homeschool group. I babysat when I was young and also had a nanny position before I had my own children. After that I helped out with friends kids and I have had several nanny positions in recent years after being a stay at home mom for many years. My most recent position lasted for almost 3 years. There was a little boy. I started keeping at four months and then shortly after he turned two, he had a little brother and so I had both of them and the little brother is now a year old. I also have two granddaughters and a grandson on the way, but unfortunately they live many hours away. I love watching the little ones grow and develop and become their own selves. Every child is so different and develops at their own rate in their own way.
