The biggest key with children though is making them feel loved and secure. I currently sit for several families with various ages/needs and can provide references. Hello there! I have grown up working with children for most of my life, as my mom is a kindergarten teacher. It was her love of her students that gave me desire to become a teacher myself. I graduated college with my bachelor’s degree in Elementary education and specialization in Reading Instruction. I have been teaching kindergarten the past four years and truly think it is the best grade ever! I’m stepping out of my classroom this year to care for my newborn, so she would need to come along too, if that is something you’re comfortable with! I have my associates in biology and pursed my bachelors to become a nurse but felt called more to elementary education.
