My name is Cathy and I have been working with children for over 30 years. My grandmother was the director of the First United Methodist Nursey School in Santa Monica, California where I would spend days playing and reading to children starting at the age of 13. I nannied for 6 month old twins in the summer of my junior year of high school and for two older children full time the following summer. I married into the military and had three children of my own who are now in their teens. We have all frequently helped watch children of our military friends and still help babysit as well as pet sit/ foster. I have been certified in first aid and CPR numerous times and can provide references upon request. Put simply, I love being around children! They are such a joy and I find happiness in helping provide a safe and nurturing environment for them to learn and grow. I respect their feelings and feel confident in my ability to provide a routine with structure, yet can adjust to their needs if the occasion arises with patience and care.
