Hi! My name is Mckenna, I just turned 18 and I am about to start college to be a k-3rd teacher! I just recently found 1 year ago that child care is my passion. Although I have been taking care of children since I was 14 years old, I truly believe that it is my purpose in life to help children thrive in this ever changing world. I’m aware that this line of work is often looked down on and is not very well liked by people my age, although I do believe that this is what I am meant to do and look forward to making this a full time career. Unfortunately, I have not yet received any certifications. I am in the process of getting my first aid and cpr certification and hope to get them in the next few months. Hi families big and small! I am 26yo and have been caring for children since I was 15. Shortly before I turned 18 and graduated high school, I worked at a Daycare for about 2 years. I continued to babysit after that job, employed by family for 2 years and I have also assisted as a marching band color guard coach for several high and middle school programs throughout middle Tennessee since 2019. My experience in childcare spans from infants, toddlers and school-age children, as I often assisted with different age groups weekly while working at the daycare.
