I left that job to seek better pay in the dental field. I love my job but I would like to find work where I am able to stay with my daughter. Hi I’m Madeline, and I’ve worked with children ages 8 weeks & up, on and off since my high school years! I often would babysit during summer time throughout high school, and I worked in a church nursery during college to gain lots of experience. Things like communicating specific child needs/concerns with parents, providing comfort and emotional/physical care to children (i.e. soothing with songs or distracting with toys during distress), as well as observing play activities to identify positive behaviors and implementing behavior redirection when appropriate were all valuable learning experiences I gained during this time, on top of doing the basic tasks like changing diapers and providing snacks/meals. I am also CPR certified as of August 2023. I must say, working with children is one of the most fulfilling jobs I think a girl can have! Even after graduating college, I worked in a pediatric dental office for nearly two years and it was so much fun getting to still be surrounded by kiddos each day. That being said, I am currently in the middle of figuring out my career path and looking for something to fulfill me in the meantime!

I am a volunteer at my local animal shelter, helping cats get adopted and teaching kids how to play with them safely and respectfully. I am certified in first aid, as well as child and infant CPR. While in high school, I took an early childhood education class where I learned about child care and development as well as allowing us to assist in the schools daycare. I find working with children fun and rewarding, and I enjoy teaching them new things and watching them grow.

I currently work at a daycare as a teacher for toddlers. I often baby sit my 6 year old niece and 1 year old sister. I’m willing to travel for work. I love watching the littles grow!
