I started off in a school age setting where I worked with elementary students falling behind in their curriculum. Eventually, I transitioned to a daycare setting where I worked with the most amazing toddlers for 2 years! I loved working with the kids there and desired to learn more about ALL kids. I currently have my RBT certification and I am in school working to become a BCBA as helping children on the spectrum is something I am extremely passionate about.

Babysitting was my first job in high school while in Co-op I worked at FUMC Naps Daycare and then I was hired on permanently. Afterwards I would take some of the kids home and babysit them until their parents came home during the week and on some weekends I would babysit as well for different families. I help take care of my 8 year old cousin who has special needs. I do not do inside pets at all. I have children of my own that are now young adults😊

I have over 20 years experience watching children.  I was a foster parent several years ago.  I do know first aid and safety, where I learned CPR for infants and children as well as anti-choking techniques. My major in college was Elementary Education, but I have since changed it to Child Psychology.  I do prefer school-aged children, but I love kids of all ages.  I enjoy a hands on approach and love to get down on a child's level.
