Hi! My name is Chanda. I am a Christian, a wife, and a mother of two beautiful daughters. I have been working with and teaching all age groups since I was 13 years old as a hip-hop dance choreographer. I knew then that I wanted to teach in any way that I could. Since then, I have been an after-school teacher for a middle school, an arts and crafts teacher at a charter middle school. I was at a childcare center where I went from being a lunch breaker and moving all the way up to Assistant Director at Siegel Learning Zone(2018-2020). I worked as the Assistant Director for the Primrose School of Murfreesboro(2020-2022). I left childhood care to work as a caregiver and then missed the littles so much that I went back to child care for a year at Cadence Academy. In early 2025 I completed my state exam to become a Registered Behavior Technician(RBT). Kids are a true passion of mine so I’m always learning how to help them more. My goal is to eventually open up my own childcare center. I love being able to make a difference in each one of their little lives. I make it my mission to intentionally know them all by name so that even with a greeting and a smile, it still makes a difference. I am fun, energetic, and love coming up with new ways to entertain/teach the children.

I have my Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education from Carson-Newman University. I worked in a blended Pre-K as an assistant at Sam-E Primary Knox County schools in 2020. I taught Sunday at my church ages infant to 4yr olds for 6 years. I have babysat for numerous of families with a wide range of ages in kids from infants to 12 year olds with some families having 4 children. I am a pre-K teacher for Metro Nashville Public schools. First aid and CPR certified. I have a pasted background check through Nashville schools system as well as previous ones in the past.

Hello! I am a current college student majoring in veterinary medicine with a love for children! I have thorough experience watching kids of all ages. I love what I do and I’ve been doing it for almost 6 years! I help with homework and driving to and from school activities, cooking, and light cleaning. I’m very active as well so I enjoy taking the kids to the park, swimming, or even just playing outside and playing games! I am semi retired SAHM 🤣 with grown adult children now (1 girl 24, & 2 boys 23 & 16). The last one is 16 yo and just got him his drivers license! Whew!!. I do miss the baby & toddler stages to be honest. I have baby sat for friends and neighbors on numerous occasions as well as other Sittercity families since joining this Ap in 2017. Hi! A little bit about my work experience! I have been working with children pretty much my whole life! From a young age, I’ve babysat my younger siblings, cousins and neighborhood children. I have worked in camps, volunteered in youth groups and kids ministry, and spent years working in the YMCA children’s programs. As well as a nannying position for 2 years during my Associates, as well as recently, for nearly a year as a live in position as well!
