I started babysitting for relatives and family friends at the age of 14 and have since babysat on a regular basis for numerous amazing families. As you can see, childcare has been the common thread throughout my life. By implementing daily routines such as nap time, bath time, feeding schedules, and bedtime wind-downs, I understand firsthand how much patience, structure, and consistency little ones need to feel safe and thrive. I am very comfortable preparing snacks and meals, packing lunches, and following all dietary restrictions. While sitting, I make it a priority to "pick up as I go" to ensure all play spaces are tidy by the end of the day. I’ve cared for the 31/2 year old since he was 6 months old and the 2 1/2 year old since he was a year old. I take them out most days to the park, indoor play center, library or duck pond. I’m in charge of their lunch time meals, nap and playtime in between. The families I work for have become friends vs just employer. They will be starting preschool soon so I am looking for occasional 1-3 days during the school hours a few hours a day. I’d love to help mom out with a newborn or infant up to 1 year old to be there when mom has appointments or errands. I will be there to care for your baby and give lots of cuddles and one on one time. I do have my own daughters so I want to be available to them after school hours from 2;45 on.
