I grew up in a big family with 7 sisters. Being one of the oldest, taking care of kids has always been in my life. From babysitting for friends and my community, to managing a kid's cooking studio, I have gathered a lot of experience. I have babysat for children as young as 6 months and as old as 16. The cooking studio gave me opportunities to teach kids life skills while giving parents free time to take a break and relax. I currently am a licensed RBT working with kids with autism and have been enjoying aspects of the field but I would love to have a more personal experience and help make an impact on a family. The training I went through to gain this certification has given me the ability to identify functions of behavior and the tools to deal with them in the best individualized way for each child. I will be renewing my CPR and First Aid certification as of 4/16/26 in order to get a refresher on those skills in my repertoire. On a more personal note, I am a very organized mind that operates off of lists and schedules while maintaining a fun and enjoyable environment. I would love to help teach children life skills and emotional regulation while also taking things off of parents' plates so they can connect more with their families. Hi there, my name is Carly. I am 25 years old. I am very good with infants and young children due to my mother being a labor and delivery nurse so I have been well adjusted to this age range. What made me want to be sitter was that I volunteered at a daycare once a week when I was in high school. My friends and I helped tutor young kids there then we would spend extra time in the baby room to give them attention as well. I have 9 years of experience as a nanny for different families working with kids anywhere from 2 months to 10 years old. I also worked in the infant room at a daycare during the Covid pandemic. I am CPR certified and have taken a course on early childhood development. I have worked with special needs, multiples, and infants. I am married to my high school sweetheart. I am currently working as a catering warehouse manager in the Knoxville area so my schedule is 9-5 on weekdays. It is a full time job so I’m just looking for extra income outside of my regular job.

My youngest is 15 and currently doing an online high school program. This has led me to have more free time. I recently worked in daycare. I worked in the infant room for months and then became the lead teacher for 2 year olds. I love teaching children and seeing them light us as they discover something new. I am a retired Home Economics teacher of 34 years. I taught Middle and High School. I am looking to babysit some on my off days.
